Sweet blackberries!

Oh yum! The last two nights I have dragged out Derek and Jenica out to pick some blackberries in our backyard. I was so surprised we still had so many!  Had to pick before the rain came today. We picked enough to make a double batch of freezer jam. Or should I clarify, Jenica and I, picked enough...Derek picked one ate 10!

Busy, busy week!

Lots of changes in our house this week!  Brent came home a week ago! YAY!  The downside, the grocery bill will be double!  :)   We also ventured into online public school this week..so far so good. Still trying to organize and setup computer time, chore schedule, and so forth, but by golly, I think we can get this work!  It is definitely a change, and so far so good.  Jared Kangas (lives down the block from us) is doing the same program as Derek, so it's nice that we can do things together too.  Right now as I type, they are having PE, basketball, went and ran a few laps (LOL!) and now they are making up some kind of game. This is great!  Now onto Portland...going to pick Jenica up from the airport...we all can't WAIT to see her.

Trying to figure out to setup different pages. And a picture blog. And book blog. And whatnot blog....

...and time to figure it all out.  Now where can I find time?  I can't catch even though it's hanging on my wall in many different places.  It just seems to zip past as soon as I creep up to it...arrrg!  It is nice to have child #2 return home. He was in MN all summer working at SLC.  A great opportunity for him. And today I noticed that child # 3 has not asked me very many questions or I really haven't seen him around.  It's nice he is back to pestering his favorite brother. Maybe tomorrow I will hear..."Moooooom!!!! tattle tattle..."  Ya think?

Any plans for Labor Day weekend? Nothing here yet. Heard Unca Tom is coming down from Seattle. Nice, nice!
