Not much to blog. Feeling rather lazy, but I will post a few pictures.
You would think it wouldn't be so hard to get a "nice" picture. Our normal tradition is to take a picture on the day of the Sunday School Christmas program. And the last kid and the last program...seems kind of weird! Much cooperation!
Jenica came home for 2.5 weeks--what a special treat it was for all of us. She surprised her dad and Derek! It was fun to watch. I knew that she was coming and Brent helped me out to pull off a good story for them to believe. They thought they were going to the airport to pick him up..meanwhile he is at work! :)
We spent a lovely week at Rockaway Beach over Christmas. It was beautiful, peaceful and spent much time relaxing, spending time with each other and remembering the true meaning of Christmas. We had awesome weather--6 days out of 7 it was SUN! Unfortunately, Lauri came down with influenza the day we got there..he was sick the whole time.
