I love this every year. Some years I participate. This year I decided to be in the crowd and enjoy it.

Beginning of Christmas Happenings

At the spur of the moment, I mailed out invitations to our five local godchildren to come to a Christmas party at our house. And yes, they all came...Rose, Troy, Connor, Sienna and Simon. We missed Onni, he moved away during the summer.  

What a fun group of kids. Lauri and I got such a bang out of them.  Thanks to Teresa for coming to help out!  We played and then we ordered pizza. Of course, the little guys all crowded at the window to see what the pizza lady and pizza car looked like!  We decorated some huge gingerbread cookies.  And of course, we gave them their Christmas presents to open.  Now parents, I will only believe half what they tell me, if you believe only half what they tell you!  

 I have to sneak a few of these pictures of two darling kids of Anu and Reuben's--did a little photo happy snapping one day!  Aren't they cute!!!???
